Project Genesis is NOT an overnight trip. It is a one-day event happening on Saturday, July 13.
Check-in for Project Genesis will happen at The Lincoln Road Campus (for Lincoln Road, Hunt Club, Jones County students), The Stone County Campus (for Stone County students), and The Gulf Coast Campus (for Gulf Coast students) at 8:00 a.m. At the end of the day, students will leave Harvest Ministries at approximately 7:00 p.m. to return back to the campus where they checked in.
Project Genesis is for students who will be 6th graders in the 2024-2025 school year. If you are interested in attending Project Genesis as a leader, please let your campus contact listed at the bottom of the page know.
Project Genesis costs $40. The price includes transportation, all meals, a Venture Students t-shirt, and all additional activities.
Our Venture Students Staff Team will be present on the trip to help lead. There will be a number of adult volunteers who regularly serve with Venture Students on the trip to serve as leaders and chaperones. Teams on Project Genesis will be led by Big Brothers and Big Sisters, upperclassmen who are actively involved in our ministry and living out their faith. Big Brothers and Big Sisters will be assigned to a group of 6th grade students based on gender and campus. They will be able to serve as a familiar face and encouragement for your student when they begin attending The MVMNT in the fall. You’ll receive communications from your student’s Big Brother or Big Sister prior to Project Genesis.
