Read Mark 5-6

Head

Jairus was a father who came to Jesus because his daughter was very sick. He begged Jesus to come and heal her. While they were on their way, people came and said it was too late.  She had died. But Jesus told Jairus, “Don’t be afraid; just believe.” Then Jesus went to the house, took the girl by the hand, and brought her back to life!
This story reminds us that even when things seem impossible, we can trust Jesus.

Heart

Have you ever felt scared or worried? Maybe you were afraid of the dark, nervous about school, or worried about someone you love. Jairus probably felt scared when he heard his daughter had died. But Jesus reminded him to believe and trust, no matter what.
When we face problems, we can remember that Jesus is always with us, and we don’t have to be afraid.

Hands

• Trust Jesus: When you feel scared, take a deep breath and say, “Jesus, I trust You.”
• Pray as a Family: If someone in your family is worried, pray together and ask Jesus for peace.
• Encourage Others: If a friend is afraid, remind them that Jesus is always with them.
  

Prayer: Dear Jesus, thank You for being with us when we are scared. Help us to trust You, even when things seem hard. Remind us that we don’t have to be afraid because You are in control. Amen.
