Read Psalms 103

Head 

David praises the Lord throughout this chapter of Psalms.  He tells us that the Lord is compassionate and gracious. He works for righteousness and justice for all the oppressed. He is a forgiving Father who does not treat us as our sins deserve. His love is so great for His children! The Lord’s love is with His children from everlasting to everlasting. Forever! David even calls God’s angels to praise Him! 

Heart 

This psalm reminds us of the importance of praise. David reminds us that the Lord is compassionate and gracious, slow to anger and abounding in love. He has compassion for all who fear Him. Share a time you were able to share praise with others. It is important to praise God at every opportunity. 

Hands 

Because we know how deeply the Father loves us, we should share our love with others.  Do you know someone who you could help this week? Through serving others, they will see how God lives in you. When you have these opportunities, praise God for setting them before you.   

Prayer: Dear God, thank You for David’s life and the wisdom he shared from You through the Psalms. Allow us to take this message and use it to guide us to look for opportunities to praise Your Holy name. We love You. amen.
