“Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of god belongs to such as these.”

Mark 10:14

Head

One day, people were bringing their children to Jesus so He could bless them, but the disciples tried to stop them. They thought Jesus was too busy for kids. But Jesus said, “Let the little children come to me!” He welcomed them with open arms and reminded everyone that the kingdom of God belongs to those who have childlike faith. This shows us that children are important to Jesus, and their faith is something we should all learn from.

Heart

Have you ever felt like you weren’t important or that grown-ups were too busy for you? Jesus reminds us that every child is special to Him. He wants kids to come to Him, pray to Him, and trust Him. For parents and families, this verse is a reminder to encourage children in their faith, pray with them, and show them that Jesus loves them deeply.

Hands
  • Spend Time with Jesus: Just like the children came to Jesus, we can spend time with Him by praying, reading Bible stories, and singing worship songs.
  • Encourage Others: Parents and older siblings can remind younger children that Jesus loves them and wants to hear their prayers.
  • Be Childlike in Faith: Adults can learn from children by trusting God fully, without worry or doubt.
Prayer

Dear Jesus, Thank You for loving children and reminding us that we are all important to You. Help us to have faith like a child, trusting You completely. Teach us to welcome and encourage others just as You do. Amen.
